Marine Performance Analyst
Job Summary:

The Marine Performance Analyst shall provide direct support to contractors and staff, supply schedulers and other personnel involved in the safe operation of the fleet and marine interfaces. The successful Analyst will provide nautical experience to enhance the analysis of all aspects of the ship / shore interface. The role will aid in the development of the necessary management tools for responsible operation, tracking, compliance, and due diligence oversight of the fleet.  This role involves operations in a worldwide shipping industry that operates 24 / 7 / 365. Occasional calls that require the Operations Analyst's full attention during evening and weekend hours can be expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following operations activities but not limited to:


 *   Assist the Operations team with the efficient day-to-day operation of the company's market access points and fleet services;
 *   Assist with fleet performance analysis and other departmental activity reports by gathering, performing statistical analysis and reconciling the data;
 *   Monitor vessel, port and regasification operations and prepare related reports;
 *   Maintain data entry update to Marine Ops e-systems and data-mines;
 *   Assist with the creating and updating of relevant department documents and reports
 *   Communicate with owners, vessels, agents, and internally with other departments
 *   Ensure policy consistency and develop performance measurement and business improvement particularly in respect of:
    *   Risk management;
    *   Ship / Shore operations;
    *   Fleet incident management
       *   Including pre-planning, drills, prevention, incident response and management;
    *   Measure and manage continuous improvement in levels of vessel performance;
    *   Measure performance against Key Performance Indicators;
    *   Aid in the management of special projects by interacting with outside vendors and contractors
    *   Read and interpret Charter Party agreements and other memorandum, reports, and general correspondence;
    *   Ensure compliance with appropriate business controls and self-appraisal of business processes;;
    *   Communicate with owners, vessels, agents and internally with other departments.


Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

*         A four-year Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture degree.
*         Demonstrate proficiency in the application of the MS Office software suite Outlook, Power Point, Word and advanced proficiency in Excel.
*         Knowledge and understanding of HSSE concepts and management techniques, Hazard Identification and Risk Management. -
*         Knowledge of International and Federal legislation and standards for maritime safety and commerce, in general, LNG, Oil and Gas industry in particular would be a distinct advantage
*         Memberships in professional organizations relating to maritime and terminal operations, safe and environmental areas of interest are also preferred.
