Summary: is responsible for development and management of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and systems across the company. This role interfaces directly with all levels of the organization to identify best practices and transition these best practices into operational HSEQ programs.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. #1  Ensure that the company remains compliant with all company polices & procedures associated with HSEQ, and adopts, as appropriate, company best practices;

    • ?  Stays current on all applicable the company policies and procedures associated with HSEQ

      and ensures the company remains compliant with them

    • ?  Is primary contact point and coordinates with colleagues

      outside of the company to ensure HSEQ best practices are shared and adopted as appropriate.

  2. #2  Ensure that the company remains compliant with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements associated with HSE;

    • ?  Develops and manages all required HSEQ training programs for employees;

    • ?  Stays current on all applicable regulations to ensure the company remains compliant with them

      as regulations change and evolve.

    • ?  Leads the interaction with regulatory authorities regarding health, safety, and environmental


    • ?  Reviews potential changes in our operations, including the purchase of new capital equipment, to

      ensure continued compliance with all applicable government regulations.

    • ?  Performs internal investigations and audits to ensure continued regulatory compliance.

  3. #3  Ensure that the company maintains all existing ISO certifications by conducting all annual internal audits and managing all external audits and subsequent closure of all identified action items.

    • ?  Manages the company compliance with the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards through site

      certification and ongoing sustainment activities.

    • ?  Manages the internal audit program associated with the above external standards and liases with

      the external registrar (LRQA) in order to maintain MDT-US certifications.

  4. #4  Establish, maintain, and periodically report the company KPIs associated with HSEQ;

    • ?  Ensures all recordables are documented, investigated, and reported as required and corrective actions to prevent recurrence are implemented

    • ?  Ensures all environmental events and concerns are documented, investigated, and reported

    • ?  Ensures all NCRs are documented with a proper root cause determined and appropriate

      corrective and preventive actions implemented.

    • ?  Ensures that HSEQ KPIs and targets are established and tracked by all appropriate the company

      sites, functions, and organizations

#5 Develop, document, and implement initiatives to reduce injuries, improve health, reduce environmental damage, and impove quality within the organization;
? Develops specialized training programs associated with high risk activities undertaken by personnel

  • ?  Develops and maintains procedures for incident and crisis management. Trains employees on AR them and conducts periodic drills

  • ?  Develops and maintains procedures for Job Hazard Analysis. Trains employees on these

    procedures and assists in their completion by line management

  • ?  Instructs personnel and supports the use of quality improvement methodologies, such as Lean

    process management, 6S, etc.

    Required Education: Bachelors Degree in HSEQ, Engineering, or related field.Required Experience:


5+ Years experience in gas & oil or maritime safety and health management roles ISO Lead Auditor / Management Representative

CSP / ASP / NEBOSH certificate or equivalent

OSHA Training
Effective communication skills at all organizational levels Analytical skill set to determine root causes

Previous experience in repair shop of field service environment a plus Lean / Six Sigma background a plus
